Homemade Hot Cocoa Bar

We drink a lot of hot cocoa in the winter months. It keeps tummies warm, and evokes a cozy feeling. My children are a bit older this year and I wanted to make a little homemade hot cocoa bar for them so they could prepare their own sweet drinks themselves! I wanted to share this simple recipe with you, too!

Simple Ingredients

The beauty of this hot cocoa mix is that it is made with simple ingredients that are pantry staples. You can throw this together so quick and have on hand for all those winter adventures. On snowy days, I like to throw all the ingredients in a crockpot on low so we have it to sip on after we play outside. On winter hikes, I will add ingredients to our thermos and we will have a hot drink to sip on while we are out in the cold.

This recipe is so versatile and I love that it isn’t fill with all those nasty preservatives. I have made this recipe several times for birthday parties and it always gets compliments for being tasty!
