Christmas Gift Wrapping
I know that Christmas gift wrapping can be a controversial topic.. some people think you HAVE to wrap, some people only use bags and tissue paper to wrap gifts. I use both wrapping paper and bags, depending on what the gift is and how I am on time. But I wanted to give a tip on wrapping gifts… use hot glue instead of tape!
Why Use Hot Glue Instead of Tape?
Growing up, my best friend’s mama was the queen of Christmas . She still is, and I have always loved her gift wrapping! She makes her own bows out of ribbon and uses brown craft paper…and she always used hot glue! So when I started wrapping Christmas gifts, I tried tape and it was so frustrating trying to make it look good and always having issues losing the end of the tape. I switched to hot glue and have never looked back. It is so much faster to use hot glue too because you don’t always have to stop and start to get a piece of tape. Just a little bit of glue will hold the gift wrapping on and the edges are so clean. No tape to try and hide! The gifts look better, and I am done with all my Christmas gift wrapping quickly! I love how the style can be customized!
