Winter Activities
Winter is upon us! So many fun projects, recipes, books, and shows to watch and enjoy! Here is a list of winter activities to inspire you this season!
Winter doesn’t have to be a gloomy time. I try and lineup some projects that are cozy and life-giving while being indoors more. It really can be a magical time with just a little intentionality. We love to cozy up and watch family movies together, drink hot drinks, and read or listen to books as a family. It really can be a time of making life-long memories in your home.
Make paper snowflakes for your windows using YouTube tutorials.
Marshmallows Snowflakes to go with homemade hot cocoa.
Knit a simple dishcloth: A great Christmas gift, too! Really good intro to knitting.
Winter-themed Playdough. You could also do a Christmas theme!
Gingerbread Cookies. This recipe works great for baking cookies or your own gingerbread houses using a silicone mold like this!
My very favorite cinnamon rolls!
Cinnamon Roll Skillet Coffee Cake
White Christmas
Little Women. All of the versions of this are good! You could also listen to it on audio, and then watch the movie together.
