Easy Classic Dutch Oven Chili Recipe
Chili is such a staple recipe for fall and winter. It’s hearty and filling, and it really brings on those cozy, hibernating feelings. This Easy Classic Dutch Oven Chili Recipe is a simple blend of spices with ground beef and beans.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 2 15 oz. cans pinto beans
- 2 15.oz cans red kidney beans
Ground one pound of ground beef in a Dutch Oven. Drain off any excess fat.
Add in chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir well with the ground beef.
Next, stir in the tomato sauce and cans of beans.
Simmer for at least 1 hour.
Turn off heat and put lid on for 10 minutes before serving.
We love serving in bowls with a little honey and shredded cheddar cheese on top. Add a handful of corn chips or a side of cornbread, and you’ve got a perfect, cozy winter meal.
- You can very easily make this is the crockpot. Make sure to brown the meat first, and then add all the other ingredients. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
