Instructions:
- Blend the dry ingredients together until smooth (a blender or even a small square of a double boiler batch works well).

Hot Cocoa Bar Ideas and Toppings
The fun part of setting up a themed hot chocolate bar is the toppings! It’s a great way to let chocolate lovers create their own hot chocolate recipes. Here are some hot cocoa bar ideas to inspire you:
- Mini marshmallows or even homemade marshmallows
- Candy canes for stirring. Our favorites are these dye-free candy canes
- Crushed chocolate bars, dark chocolates, or toffee bits
- Caramel sauce drizzled over whipped cream
- Powdered sugar or cinnamon stick sprinkled on top
- Paper straws and hot chocolate bar labels for the perfect addition to your setup
These fun toppings make it easy to let everyone build their own hot chocolate masterpiece. The easiest way to keep things flowing at a Christmas party is to prep everything ahead of time and lay it out on a serving tray or tiered tray.
Display items on serving boards, a charcuterie board, or a tiered tray from Hobby Lobby. Add a string of white lights or wrap serving trays in wrapping paper to bring holiday cheer.
Tip: Another helpful tip is to set out your toppings in small bowls or jars so guests don’t feel overwhelmed. A little organization goes a long way in keeping your hot cocoa bar ideas simple and inviting. Use a tiered tray or serving boards to maximize space, and refill as needed throughout the holiday season.
