Servings 1 loaf

Ingredients

  • 3 large bananas
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degree. Grease a 9×5 loaf pan with butter.
  • Mash bananas in large bowl until they are smooth.
  • Melt butter and add to bananas with a wooden spoon.
  • Add sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla and mix well.
  • Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt to the large bowl. Mix dry ingredients lightly together before mixing all together with the wet ingredients.
  • Add to the loaf pan and immediately bake.
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes. Test bread to make sure that it's baked all the way through. A skewer or a butter knife work great and will come out clean if it is done. Do not overbake or it will be dry.
  • Cool for 15 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
