A Finished Home Library + New Fall Rhythms
Hi friend, hope you’re doing well this week.
The bookshelves are finally finished! I’ve spent this week slowly getting all of our books organized and our little home library put together. Just a few more simple trim pieces to add and we are 100% done! After so many weeks of building, painting, and debating paint colors, it feels so good to finally see this room becoming what I had pictured all along.
And now, of course, it’s on to school planning and homeschool organizing. Our fall schedule is already well underway, with early mornings getting the kids out the door for cross country practice, and all the little routines that come with a new season beginning to settle into place. I’ve been trying not to rush through it all, but instead trying to really soak up this season. The books on the shelves, the early mornings, preparing for another homeschool year, and our days together at home.
I’m just feeling especially grateful lately. The Lord has given me so much, and I don’t want to be so busy preparing for the next thing that I miss the goodness right in front of me. I hope you are able to do the same. Thanks for being here!
